I love love love my stylist Lucy! She's been my girl for about 20 years. She knows exactly what I want, and my hair always looks amazing. I trust her immensely! The shop is always clean with wonderful energy.
Kinda traumatic came for a wash n set. That's normally like $50 at other local salons but I was charged $100 lost 2 inches of my hair this time even though I just had a trim at another salon. Regret it
I have been going to Dominican Sisters Hair Salon in Elmont, NY for YEARRRRSSSS!!! It is always magical. The place has a good energy about it, and so do all the ladies that work there. I have kept my hair natural (without any chemical straightening process) for 12 years now, so I appreciate the love, care, and patience that goes into my hair whenever I do get it blown-out/straightened there. At the close of each styling session, a smile is brought to my face. Not only do I leave with beautiful, well-cared for hair; I also leave with my spirits lifted for the time I spent with these lovely people! I would give this place FIFTEEN stars if I could!! 🌟 I highly recommend this salon to others looking for a great styling experience! :-) 💕

One of the only (if not the only) Dominican Salon I can stand behind. I truly trust them with my natural hair and extensions. And never had to worry about some of the unethical practices other Dominican salons are notorious for (if you know you know). Their prices are fair, the salon is clean and the staff there is friendly. The only thing I would change about this salon is the dog, though the dog is adorable and rather friendly, I rather not have a pup at my feet when getting my hair done. It's not an absolute dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind in case you're allergic or afraid of dogs. I'm glad I found this place and highly recommend !
The sisters are incredibly sweet, and I liked how my hair come out. Will definitely continue to come to this salon.
They do know blow-dry hair, but they are bad at cornrows, and they do not have a set price. If you don't know, they will charge you a million dollar for a 30$ service.
